But, if you ask us, modern NVH standards and economies of scale have rendered the Z a little flat. In stock form, you'd be hard-pressed to hear the difference between the Z's 400 horsepower, twin-turbo, 3.0L V6 and an Altima. But, with a little ingenuity and Mishimoto's performance intake, you can squeeze more sound, and more power, from your 2023+ Nissan Z.----The Mishimoto 2023+ Nissan Z performance intake gives you the power you expect from your Z with the sound it should have had from the factory. Our intake features a unique convertible design that allows you to quickly switch between closed airboxes for cool intake temps, or open airboxes for serious sound. Switching between the two setups is a simple matter of removing three bands and removing the airbox lid. With open airboxes, the Mishimoto intake system reduces restriction by up to 42 percent, and significantly increased induction sound, while the closed airboxes reduced restriction by 25 percent. The improved flow also results in power gains of over 6 HP and 4.8 lb-ft. of torque with the airboxes closed. Our airboxes also feature enlarged fresh air ducts to ensure cool air for your turbos.----Flow, power, and sound are all great, but they're useless without safety and reliability. Our airboxes are constructed from rotational-molded XLPE that safely insulates the intake air from engine bay heat. The CNC-machined aluminum MAF housings are precisely designed to ensure accurate and safe readings, even on the stock tune. Finally, our high-flow conical filters increase effective filtration area by 20 percent, ensuring ample flow, without sacrificing clean air.
